Often times, a person mistakes thirst for hunger, which can lead to overeating. Next time you are tempted to overeat, drink a tall glass of water - you may just have been dehydrated.

2. Take Your Time

Try to avoid rushing when eating. Taking your time to eat can help you savor the food’s flavor, and help your body adjust to the food eaten.

It takes twenty minutes for your stomach to send the satiety signal to your brain, so to avoid overeating, spend a little longer at the dinner table.

3. Eat More During the Day

To mange your weight, eat most of your daily calories during the daytime. Eating during the day gives you more time to burn off the calories, which can help balance your body’s metabolism.
